Broadband Recovery Program

Interested broadband providers serving communities in western North Carolina can apply for funding to support the rebuilding, repair or replacement of broadband infrastructure damaged by Hurricane Helene. The newly created Broadband Recovery Program, made possible through an appropriation of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds by Governor Josh Stein and the N.C. General Assembly, aims to restore and strengthen high-speed internet access for communities in western North Carolina that suffered significant damage from the storm. Learn more about the Broadband Recovery Program and submit applications by November 24.
