Housing Grant Program for Volunteer Organizations (Phase Two)
Volunteer organizations actively involved in ongoing repair and reconstruction projects from Hurricane Helene can apply for grant funding through the Volunteer Organizations Active in Rebuilds Disaster Grant Program - Phase Two. An initial $16 million is available for this program, appropriated by the Disaster Recovery Act (Part 2) and administered by the NC Division of Emergency Management. Applications are due on December 11, 2025 no later than 5 p.m.
Eligible Categories of Work:
- Ongoing and proposed Hurricane Helene homeowner repairs and reconstruction project work.
- Initial funding for this notice is anticipated to be $16,000,000. There is no maximum grant request limit.
- Projects can be 100% funded with no local cost share and are paid on a reimbursement basis.
