A food distribution event will be held at the WNC Agricultural Center in Fletcher on September 25 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to provide access to nutritional food and addresses food insecurity. A partnership between Food Lion Feeds, MANNA FoodBank and Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina will offer distribution of fresh produce and non-perishable items to community members to mark the one-year anniversary of Helene.
