The Mitchell County Long-Term Resiliency Group invites the community to Bradshaw Fire Department on September 27 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to mark the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Helene. The community is invited to share stories, enjoy a free hot meal, and connect with neighbors. Guest speakers, music, and community resources will be offered as we reflect on how far we've come and continue supporting one another. This day is about honoring our resilience, strengthening community ties, and walking forward in recovery together.
These gatherings are open to all Mitchell County citizens, and you are welcome to attend any event, no matter its location.
